Vanessa is an Australian who has lived in the UK for 10 years. She is a secondary maths and science teacher and is passionate about engaging with young people of every age to improve their opportunities. She believes that competent communication is key to self-confidence and the ability to create the life you want. Her core belief is that every child, regardless of gender, and regardless of where in the world they live, has a fundamental right to fulfil their potential, and to have the chance to avoid a life of missed opportunities.
Vanessa is a public speaker, barbershop singer, professional toastmaster, teacher and mother to three beautiful children. She has lived in Surrey more or less since arriving in the United Kingdom. She loves Doctor Who and properly hot sunshine.
